Matthew Burnford is kindly organising a litter pick on Saturday 1st April at 9.30 am (meet at Village Hall) to clear the verges of litter before the Spring growth. We had a huge turn-out last year and managed to fully walk all four of the roads that lead into Todenham and collected a huge quantity of rubbish. It is really important to keep the village looking its best and to discourage passing traffic from littering.
The Parish Council has invested in litter pickers and bags; and the District Council has provided hi-visibility vests and gloves and will remove any bags we fill. We would love as many residents who can make it to come along and help and any children would be particularly welcome. There will be coffee and cakes at the Village Hall afterwards.
